Music lessons, Lectures and Choir
KenDu Music is very much a part of community spirit and offers music lessons in violin and theory as well as lectures on music appreciation. In addition, KenDu manages a choir called the Rosemount Singers who specialise under the guidance of Choral Director Mr Shane Barriscale, in four part harmony, early, classical and contemporary music.
As a medieval historian and foreign correspondent of 35 years with Swiss Radio, Dr Martin Alioth gives talks on political and historical affairs.
KenDu music is based in a sumptuous 10 acre garden throughout which the river Nanny flows. The garden 'Rosemount' is a member of the Boyne Valley Garden Trail and appointments are available by appointment. Garden tours and lectures can be combined.
