‘Summer Strings ‘with ConTempo Quartet at the very beautiful late 17th Century stately home, Beaulieu House & Gardens, Co Louth. https://www.beaulieuhouse.ie
(Come and enjoy chamber music making with this remarkable quartet. The course is open to already formed amateur quartets and individual string musicians seeking tuition and the experience in playing with a small group with expert tuition. Overlooking the River Boyne and in the middle of summer, the course is scheduled over three days – Monday – Wednesday (20th-22nd July, 2020) the fee is €250 per person. Music is supplied, as are refreshments, tea/coffee/biscuits.
Lunch is of one-hour duration and a packed lunch is advised as this magical environment is in the countryside. Directions and modes of transport and accommodation can all be advised upon by contacting KenDu Music. All levels accepted. Age 10++!
